Glenn Tufts
Camp Founder & Director
Glenn celebrates his 29th year of directing the Play Ball Baseball Camp. He and his staff share the enjoyment with the camp's youngsters of learning and playing this great game of baseball.
Glenn played in the Cleveland Indians organization from 1973-79, and became a hitting instructor and manager for the San Francisco Giants minor league system in 1994. He is currently in his 13th season with the Giants working as the New England area scouting supervisor. Glenn also owns and operates the year-round Glenn Tufts Hitting & Training Center at Club Fit in West Bridgewater.
Mike Connell
Camp Director
Coach Connell, a former director of the Ted Williams Camp, was formerly the head coach at Holbrook High where his teams won 7 league championships and qualified for the State Tournament 10 of those 12 years. These teams earned him Mayflower League Coach of the Year 3 times, and in 1991 Boston Globe Coach of the Year honors. |
